Samsung’s highly anticipated new foldable phone, Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide, appeared for the first time with real world views. Here are the details.
Samsung is expected to introduce its new generation foldable phones in July. According to leaks, the company names its new wide-screen model as Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide, while it plans to launch the device, which is a continuation of the current series, under the name Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
Before the official announcement, real-world images of the highly anticipated wide-screen model have emerged. Photos shared on the South Korea-based DC Inside forum reveal the first clues about the design of the device.
Design Details and Leaks
The device in the images is housed in a special anti-leak protective case to hide the design details. However, it is clearly noticeable that the phone has a very large form factor and has a dual camera setup on the back.
Previously leaked technical drawings show that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide model will have a 7.6-inch internal screen. It is predicted that this screen will come with a folding structure similar to the Oppo Find N6 model.

Expected Features of the New Model
Samsung aims to take its experience in foldable screen technology one step further with this new wide-screen model. The wide structure of the device aims to offer users a different experience, especially in multitasking and media consumption.
Although there is currently limited information about the hardware features of the device, leaks indicate that the design focuses on a more ergonomic structure compared to previous models. As the launch date in July approaches, technical details and other features of the device are expected to become clear.
Samsung’s new foldable phone strategy seems to directly affect the competition in the market. Users are wondering how this new design, especially with a large screen, will perform in daily use.
