The countdown has officially begun for Turkey’s second passenger car brand with 100% domestic capital. Industrial giant HABAŞ is nearing the end of its domestic passenger car project developed at the Gebze factory it acquired from Honda. While the company is expected to officially introduce its first models by the end of the year, the legendary name of the automotive world, Frank Stephenson, is in charge of the project’s design.
Sedan and Crossover in the First Stage: Three Different Engine Options
HABAŞ plans to enter the market directly with two different body types: Sedan and crossover. In addition to fully electric models, the company, targeting the market transition process and different consumer needs, includes gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid engine options in its vehicles.
In the coming period The goal is to include SUVs and light commercial vehicles in the product range. This huge investment, totaling approximately 1 billion euros, significantly strengthens Turkey’s domestic production power in the global automotive arena.

One of the most striking aspects of the project is that the design language has been entrusted to the world-renowned designer Frank Stephenson and his group. Stephenson, who has written his name in gold letters in automotive history; A name that has left its mark on the Ferrari F430, McLaren P1, the contemporary Fiat 500, the first-generation BMW Scratch:
