In the smartphone world, interest in large-screen foldable devices continues to increase rapidly. While it is said that Samsung will focus on this segment with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide model, it has been revealed that brands such as vivo, Oppo and Honor are also carrying out similar studies.

New leaks in the industry show that Android manufacturers are shifting their strategies in the foldable phone market towards large-screen designs. This development is considered as an effort to respond to users’ expectations for a larger screen experience.

New developments on the vivo and Oppo front

Smart Pikachu, a leak source well-known in the technology world, shared important details about vivo’s future plans. The source states that the screen fold mark will be much less noticeable in the vivo X Fold6 model and the device will adopt a broader design language.

The same source reports that Oppo is also testing a large-screen foldable smartphone with a similar strategy. This new device from Oppo is currently in the evaluation phase and it is eagerly awaited whether it will be released or not.

Honor and the general situation of the industry

On the Honor side, it is claimed that there is a long-standing wide-screen foldable phone project. Industry representatives expect Honor to officially introduce this new device in the near future.

Huawei recently introduced the Pura X Max model, which stands out with its unusual design and has a very large screen. Rumors that Apple is working on a foldable iPhone, called iPhone Ultra and expected to have a large screen, remain on the agenda.
