The Google Pixel 11a leak reveals the device’s design and technical specifications. Here are the highlights of the new model expected in 2027.
Google Pixel 11a has become a hot topic in the tech world with leaked images. While the design boundaries of the device are similar to previous models, significant innovations await users in terms of internal hardware.
Design and Screen Features
Google’s new mid-range representative largely maintains the design language used in the Pixel 9a and Pixel 10a series. While the rear camera section continues its integrated structure with the body, a slightly shorter version of the long oval form was found in the previous model is preferred.
The positioning of the flash outside the camera module is among the details that support the continuity in the design language. According to the leaked technical measurements, the device will come with a body of approximately 153.46 x 72.35 x 9 mm.
These prices make the phone slightly shorter than the Pixel 10a, but the overall user experience will remain similar. Considering the Pixel 10a measures 153.9 x 73 x 9 mm, it seems Google is focusing on maintaining a compact design.
As for color options, four different shades are being considered: black, silver, green, and purple. The names Obsidian for black, Mist for silver, and Olive for green are being mentioned, while purple might be called Orchid.
However, it should be noted that these color names have not yet been officially confirmed by Google and may change in the final model. On the screen side, a 6.3-inch 1080p panel and a 60-120 Hz refresh rate are expected to be retained.
A significant improvement in brightness is noticeable. HDR brightness is expected to increase from 2,000 nits to 2,250 nits, and peak brightness from 3,000 nits to 3,350 nits.
Hardware and Price Expectations
The main change in the Pixel 11a will be in its internal hardware components. The device being equipped with a Tensor G6 processor and MediaTek modem indicates a more significant performance increase compared to previous generations.
This hardware change could allow the phone to make a significant leap in daily use and information processing performance. The camera setup is expected to retain the 48 MP main and 13 MP ultra-wide-angle sensors.
While there will be no dedicated telephoto camera, the front camera is expected to be revamped for the first time since the Pixel 7a. While the battery capacity is expected to be around 5,000 mAh, leaks highlight a minimum capacity of 4,870 mAh.
On the software side, the device is expected to ship with Android 17. Google is predicted to provide operating system, feature, and security updates for this model for seven years.
This long-term support policy will allow the device to maintain its novelty for many years. The launch date is indicated as February or March 2027.
As for the price, it is estimated that it could rise from the starting price of $499 for previous models to $599. This price increase is said to be based on the general cost increases in the Pixel 11 series and the increase in memory and storage costs.
Do you think Google’s new mid-range model deserves the price increase given the hardware updates it offers?
