Tesla CEO Elon Musk, in a meeting with investor Ron Baron, revealed that he has completely memorized the design of the new AI5 chip, which is expected to revolutionize the company’s artificial intelligence infrastructure. This new inference chip, aiming to offer three times higher performance than NVIDIA’s current products, is seen as a critical milestone for the future of Tesla’s autonomous driving and Optimus robot technologies.
