Artificial Intelligence Discussions Continue in the Industry
It remains unclear what the outcome of the use of artificial intelligence in the sequel project of Lies of P will be. However, the studio’s steps in this direction are already being criticized by some fans in the gaming world.
Previously, Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian Studios announced that they planned to use artificial intelligence in the concept phase for their new game Divinity and received great reaction. Following the reactions, Larian announced that it would completely stop using artificial intelligence in concept drawings.
Despite Larian’s step back, it appears that other studios in the industry are continuing to explore this technology in their own projects. This new move by Round8 Studio shows that discussions about the use of artificial intelligence in the gaming industry will remain on the agenda for a long time.
