The exercise, in which ATMACA hit its target from 100 km, was marked by the shots fired by Bayraktar TB3 and Hisar-D RF missiles launched from the TCG Anadolu ship, over MİDLAS.
Denizkurdu What happened in 2026?
Exercise Denizkurdu-II 2026 was carried out in a wide area, especially off the coast of Antalya, as one of the most comprehensive activities of the Turkish Naval Forces in recent years. In this video, in the 4th part of 2T Defense & Technology, we talk about the local and national systems that stood out in the exercise and what happened in the field.
HAWKThe anti-ship missile was one of the most striking elements in this exercise. The shot, made from a distance of over 100 kilometers, was valuable as it showed the missile’s true ability in the field. Likewise, the AKYA heavy torpedo revealed the current state of submarine warfare with its firing on the real target.
On the air defense side, the launch of the HİSAR-D RF missile via the MİDLAS system stood out. This system was a critical example of how ships establish a layered defense structure against contemporary air threats.
The PIRANA kamikaze unmanned marine vehicle also took part in the exercise. It offered a new generation approach to above-water purposes with its low-cost but highly effective structure. Bayraktar TB3 took off from TCG Anadolu and carried out a mission against naval targets, showing the current state of unmanned air-sea integration.
In general, Seawolf-II 2026; With the participation of many ships, aircraft and thousands of employees, it was an exercise that clearly demonstrated Turkey’s maritime operations capability and the level reached by the domestic defense industry.
