Adobe Announces Comprehensive AI Update for Photoshop

Adobe Announces Comprehensive AI Update for Photoshop

Adobe aims to make photo editing processes more practical with the new Adobe Photoshop AI tools it announced for Photoshop.

Adobe has announced new AI-focused development work for its renowned photo editing software, Photoshop. One of the most notable innovations is the beta version of the Adobe Photoshop AI tools.

The company has introduced new interface and editing options aimed at speeding up user workflows. These features allow for the execution of complex processes with simpler commands.

AI Experience in a Single Toolbar

The newly announced AI Assisted Editor appears as an optional interface view. This system brings together all the AI features added to the software in a single toolbar.

Within the interface, there is also an option that allows editing photos using only written commands. Users can make changes quickly without getting lost in complex menus.

Another new addition to the software is the AI Markup tool. This feature allows users to easily explain the desired changes to the photo to the system using simple drawings.

Firefly Image 5’s Instruct Edit with Masks works by understanding the context of the entire image. This significantly reduces the need to meticulously mark each area to be edited.

Processes such as opening closed eyes or adding a hat to a person’s head can be easily defined with commands. According to Adobe, areas without masks are left unchanged.

This procedure protects valuable elements such as faces, logos, and branding. Thus, users can continue their work without worrying about compromising the integrity of the image during editing.

The system aims to save users more time by eliminating complex masking processes. Artificial intelligence automatically determines the most appropriate editing formula by analyzing the context of the image.

A New Era in Lighting Control

Adobe is offering users a new layer that allows for reversible adjustment of light-focused controls. Called the Light Adjustment Layer, this feature encompasses adjustments to exposure and contrast.

This layer allows for precise adjustments to highlights, shadows, whites, and blacks. The company states that this system delivers results without disrupting the layer-based workflow in Photoshop.

The new system allows users to achieve Camera Raw-level results. This makes professional-level lighting adjustments much more practical within Photoshop.

With these new features, Adobe aims to make photo editing processes more accessible. The impact of AI-powered tools on users’ creative processes is particularly anticipated.

These innovations, offered in the beta version of the software, are seen as part of Adobe’s investments in artificial intelligence. Users can experience these tools and share their feedback with the company.

How much do you think these new AI tools added to Photoshop will change the workflow of professional photographers?
