Xiaomi introduced the first clip-on headphone model with 11mm drivers and IP57 durability. Here are all the technical details of the new headset.
Xiaomi joined the open headphone design trend and introduced its first clip-on headphone model at an event held in China. This new device, which clings to the side of the ear instead of entering the ear canal, is offered for sale with a price tag of 849 yuan, and is reduced to 799 yuan with a short-term launch discount.
Developed for users who are uncomfortable with traditional silicone-tipped headphones or who do not want to lose contact with the outside world, this design displays a comfort-oriented approach. 5.5 gramsEach headphone in the package is securely fixed to the ear thanks to the titanium wire bridge with memory.
Technical Specifications and Design Details
There are 11mm dynamic drivers on the inside of the headphones and LHDC 5.0 support is offered for a high-resolution sound experience. Directional sound transmission and opposing sound wave technologies are used to minimize sound leakage.
A triple microphone array and a bone conduction microphone are used together for noise canceling performance. While the outer surface of the device has a translucent and shiny structure, the charging box is covered with a soft leather-like texture.

The headphones, which come in four different color options: black, white, gold and purple, are resistant to dust and water thanks to the IP57 certification. Offering 9 hours of usage time on a single charge, the device promises a total battery life of up to 38 hours with the charging box.

Software and Smart Features
Xiaomi’s new headphones work integrated with HyperOS and offer advanced features such as audio sharing. Supporting Apple’s Find My network for iOS users allows the device to be used in different ecosystems.

The device is equipped with various smart features such as real-time translation in 21 languages, live transcription and summarization via the XiaoAI assistant. These features aim to provide a practical experience in daily use.
