Xiaomi 18 Fold Launch Date Announced! Coming Before iPhone Ultra

Xiaomi is preparing to introduce its new foldable phone Xiaomi 18 Fold, Pad 9 Pro Max and N70 electric vehicles at an event it will hold on September 7th.

Xiaomi will officially introduce its highly anticipated new flagship devices at a major launch event in China on September 7th. The company will unveil the Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable smartphone and the high-performance Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max tablet for the first time.

Both devices will be powered by Xiaomi’s self-developed 3nm Xring O3 AI processor. The event will also include the introduction of the N70 Pro, N70 Max, and N90 Max electric vehicle models developed under the Xiaomi Pengcheng brand, further strengthening the company’s goals in the automotive sector.

Xiaomi 18 Fold Redefines Foldable Phone Technology

Xiaomi 18 Fold is the company’s first large-screen smartphone that folds inwards seamlessly. This model is particularly noteworthy for its screen ratios and hardware integration. The device features a hardware architecture composed entirely of domestically produced components, supported by LPDDR6 memory modules supplied by ChangXin Memory Technologies. This strategic step is seen as part of Xiaomi’s efforts to increase its technological independence.

Performance Standards Rise with Xring O3 Processor

The new generation Xring O3 processor promises a considerably high processing capacity thanks to its 10-core structure. The processor includes six super-large cores and four large cores that can reach up to 4.35GHz. In addition, the 16-core G2-Ultra NX graphics processor provides an 85% increase in graphics performance compared to previous generation models, while reducing power consumption by 64%, offering an efficiency-focused experience.

Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max Supports Professional Workflows

Appearing in Geekbench tests with model number M367FC, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max stands out with its technical specifications. Scoring 3,710 in the single-core test and 14,319 in the multi-core test, the tablet proves its high performance and is designed for heavy workloads such as image editing and professional drawing. Its battery capacity of over 10,000mAh and 120W fast charging support ensure uninterrupted performance during long periods of use.

The Electric Vehicle Segment Continues to Expand

Xiaomi is not limiting itself to portable devices only, but is also increasing its presence in the electric vehicle market. The N70 and N90 series vehicles, to be introduced under the Xiaomi Pengcheng brand, will be integrated into the company’s ecosystem with their technological features. This move supports Xiaomi’s vision of building a vast world of technology, from smart devices to cars.
