The Xbox Game Pass library continues to expand with new titles offered to subscribers in the first half of August. The long-awaited early access beta for Gears of War: E-Day and many other new games are available to subscribers.

The early access open beta for Gears of War: E-Day begins on August 6th. Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscribers will have the opportunity to experience the new Horde Siege PvE mode.

Additions to the Library in August

Remastered versions of Heretic and Hexen were added to the Game Pass library on August 4th. On the same day, the action role-playing game Beast of Reincarnation, developed by Game Freak, was also added to the platform.

The tower-survivor game Monsters are Coming! PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available to subscribers on August 6th. On August 11th, Bounty Star, which combines mech battles with farming, Date Everything!, which stands out with its interesting concept, and Grounded 2 will be added to the library.

Ball x Pit will be available on August 12th, and Cricket 26, Mio: Memories in Orbit, and Sandustry will be available on August 13th. Finally, Egging On will be added on August 18th, completing the first wave of August content.

Additional Content and Updates

A 10-hour trial of EA Sports Madden NFL 27 will be released on EA Play on August 6th. Game Pass Pack 7, designed for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7 players, is currently available to all subscribers.

As part of backward compatibility, classic Xbox games like BLiNX: The Time Sweeper and Conker: Live and Reloaded are now playable on PC and supported handheld consoles. On August 15th, titles like Menace, Atlas Fallen, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and Firewatch will be removed from the library.
