What Changed with iOS 27? Here Are All iOS 27 Features

Apple’s highly anticipated iOS 27 update has been released! We tested all the innovations coming to iPhone 15 Pro and above models, such as Apple Intelligence, Google Gemini partnership, new Siri artificial intelligence and photo editing tools, in the beta version.

The eagerly awaited iOS 27 Beta update has been released as of now. In this image, I have both an iPhone 17 Pro and a 16 Pro model in front of me, and I installed this new beta version on both. We will always take a closer look at new features together. We examine in detail the new Siri artificial intelligence that Apple introduced at this event and the developments in Apple Intelligence. Now, although these features are not fully active on the devices, I have compiled the innovations for you.

Models That Will Receive iOS 27 Update

First, let’s clarify which devices will receive this update. According to Apple’s official information, iPhone 15 Pro and all models above will receive the iOS 27 update with Apple Intelligence and the new Siri artificial intelligence.

However, below these models, the plain iPhone 15, iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series and eventually the iPhone 11 series and SE second generation models, which received their latest update, are among the devices that will receive iOS 27. Of course, these sub-models will not include Apple Intelligence and new Siri features.

iOS 27 appears as a slightly more optimization-oriented update in general. Although it does not contain any sharp changes in terms of design, there are significant improvements in the background.

For example, Apple officials state that photos will now be transferred 70% faster. In this way, the processes and transfer times when sending photos via Airdrop will be much faster. In addition, the shared albums feature is now compatible with Android and Windows devices, so you will be able to easily transfer images with users in different ecosystems.

World of Headphones and Advanced Child Safety

On the headphone side, a three-channel sound adjustment feature is offered for AirPods. You will be able to turn the bass and treble balances on and off as you wish with the fine settings here. One of the most important issues that Apple emphasized in this update was the safety of children.

Parents will now be able to manage the “set up for my child” option in much more detail when giving their children a phone. In addition to preventing the download of unwanted applications, you will be able to completely control which hours the phone will be active or which applications will be accessed when you come home by setting time limits.

A new feature has been added that allows you to adjust the transparency level in screen design for those who like and dislike the Liquid Glass structure. You can determine how much the back of the transparent panels will be visible or not, according to your own preference.

It is even possible to go back to the old iOS 18 infrastructure when you pull this setting all the way. With the “reframe” feature under the “tools” tab added to the photo editing section, you can change the angle and framing of your photos and re-create them with the help of artificial intelligence.

Let’s come to the most curious side of Apple Intelligence and Siri. Apple announced that it will work in collaboration with Google Gemini infrastructure in this process. Although it is not a completely Gemini infrastructure, a mixed artificial intelligence model will be used with the combination of Apple and Gemini.

Now, Siri is not just an assistant, it will work as a completely independent application on your phone and produce interactive responses on the dynamic island. Many innovations are waiting for us, such as being able to see objects on the screen, analyzing and listing descriptions in messages or past holiday photos in a logical way. Don’t forget to share which of these updates your phone has received in the comments.
