Developed by Ay Yapım and described as the world’s first series entirely produced by artificial intelligence, Walls premiered today on the Amazon Prime Video platform. Announced in October, this project stands out as the first AI-based series to be released on a major digital platform.

The Mystery of Alamut Castle is Brought to the Screen

Consisting of two 15-minute episodes, Walls draws inspiration from the mysterious atmosphere of the historical Alamut Castle. Alamut Castle has become a globally recognized location in recent years, frequently featured in popular culture and productions such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Ay Yapım had previously announced the establishment of a new subsidiary, AI Yapım, based in Singapore, for this special project. AYDNA 1.0, a licensed video training model developed within this subsidiary, played a fundamental role in the entire visual production process of the series.

The beginning of a new era in the industry

Previously shown to audiences at the Mipcom fair, Surlar also made a significant contribution to increasing AI Yapım’s brand awareness in the sector. This pioneering step in integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the production of television series serves as a reference point for similar projects in the future.

The technical infrastructure and visual narrative of the series were realized through an entirely digital modeling process, unlike classical production methods. This technological development provides a concrete example of how content producers can transform their creative processes.
