Vivo has officially revealed the screen details of its highly anticipated new flagship smartphone, the Vivo X500 Pro Max. According to information shared by Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao on Weibo, the device is preparing to enter the technology world with a massive 6.85-inch 2K BOE Q11 display panel.
This new device, planned to be launched in the Chinese market in September, aims to take visual quality to the next level by being equipped with advanced Zeiss Master Color technology. The Vivo X500 Pro Max represents a significant milestone in smartphone display technology, offering both high resolution and power efficiency without compromise.
Screen Technology Enhances Visual Experience
Vivo’s newly developed screen panel enhances color homogeneity thanks to Demura processing at the hardware level and compensation algorithms at the pixel level. It improves brightness uniformity by 43% and 22%. These technical improvements aim to offer users a more balanced and vibrant viewing experience. Maintaining rigidity, especially in high-resolution content, is a critical need for large-screen devices.
Power Efficiency and Durability are Improved
High-resolution 2K screens have traditionally faced significant power consumption and panel lifespan issues. However, Vivo states that it has eliminated these disadvantages thanks to the new light-emitting materials in the Q11 panel. The device’s screen exhibits 21% lower power consumption compared to the previous generation 1.5K panels, while the panel’s lifespan has been doubled. This shows that performance and durability can be offered together.
Automatic Lighting Provided by Sensor Technology
The Vivo X500 Pro Max is equipped with a high-sensitivity multispectral sensor under the screen, aiming to provide the fastest and most natural reflection of ambient light. This sensor analyzes different light spectrums and color temperatures, providing 98% harmony with the light perceived by the human eye. The brightness adjustment with a sensitivity level of 0.3-lux is considered one of the most optimal values in the Android segment. The company is preparing to share more details about OriginOS 7 along with the X500 and X500 Pro models at the launch event to be held in September.
