Vivo S60 Series Displayed on Geekbench

Vivo S60 Series Displayed on Geekbench

Vivo S60 was spotted on Geekbench with its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, 7,200 mAh battery and advanced camera features. Here are the details.

Vivo, one of the notable names in the smartphone market, is preparing to meet users with its new mid-upper segment device, the Vivo S60 model. Before the giant event to be held in China on May 29, 2026, the Geekbench performance test results of the device are revealed.

It is becoming clear that the new device, tested with the model number V2571A, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, following the same path as the previous generation Vivo S50 on the processor side.

The company, which does not make any radical hardware changes on the processor side, aims to offer the main innovations in the huge battery with a capacity of 7,200 mAh, ultrasonic fingerprint technology, advanced camera capabilities and premium design elements.

The Processor Remains The Same But Performance Is Still At Its Top

According to the information reflected in the Geekbench database, Vivo S60 offers an eight-core architecture consisting of one performance-oriented main core running at 3.01 GHz, four performance cores at 2.80 GHz and three efficiency cores at 2.02 GHz.

On the graphics side, the device, powered by the Adreno 735 graphics unit, comes out of the box with the Android 16 operating system.

The phone, which achieved very successful results in the tests, such as 1,960 points in single-core performance and 5,194 points in multi-core performance, promises a high level of fluency in daily use and heavy games, even though the processor has not been renewed.

In particular, the availability of high-speed RAM support up to 16 GB provides a great advantage in multi-mission management and trouble-free operation of background applications.

What Does Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition Offer?

As the official launch date of the devices approaches, the technical specifications and design details become largely clear.

While the standard Vivo S60 model is expected to peak with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage options, for those looking for a budget-friendly alternative, the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition model comes into play, starting with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.

It is stated that both devices will take their place on the shelves with aesthetic color options such as “Starry Sea”, “Early Summer Green” and “Summer Night” inspired by ocean waves. The body design, which the company calls monolithic “cold-carved glass”, gives the device a very contemporary and stylish appearance.

Screen, Battery and Advanced Camera Features

According to leaked hardware information, Vivo S60 has a 6.59-inch flat OLED screen on the front with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader positioned under the screen offers a much faster and safer unlocking experience even with wet fingers.

The company’s biggest argument in the new series is definitely the battery performance. The device, which feeds a massive 7,200 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support, is an extremely powerful alternative for users looking for long battery life.

On the camera side, there are fine details that will delight photography enthusiasts. Inside the new generation rectangular module on the back, there is a 50 Megapixel main camera and a Sony IMX series periscope telephoto sensor that increases optical zoom capabilities.

Thanks to Vivo’s new live photo system, moving photos can be taken in 4K resolution. In addition, the device appears to be supported by high-end hardware such as IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance certifications, stereo speaker, X-axis linear vibration motor and IR (infrared) sensor for controlling home appliances.

It is expected that all features will become official with the launch on May 29.
