Vivo S60 Comes with Incredible Battery Capacity

Vivo S60 Comes with Incredible Battery Capacity

Vivo officially announced that its new smartphone Vivo S60 model will come with a 7200mAh battery, 90W fast charging, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and IP68/69 certification.

Competition in the phone market continues to grow day by day, focusing on hardware and design. Battery life is one of the things that users value most in a smartphone. A breakthrough that will leave its mark on this issue comes from the Chinese technology giant Vivo.

According to the official statement made by the company’s product manager Han Boxiao, the brand’s highly anticipated new mid-upper segment smartphone series Vivo S60 is preparing to be released with a huge battery of 7200mAh capacity. The new series, which is planned to be officially introduced in the Chinese market this month, attracts all attention not only with its battery capacity, but also with the premium design limits and flagship features it offers. It is safe to say that the device, which will radically change industry standards, promises users an uninterrupted experience that lasts for days; because this time the company combines efficiency and power in a single body.

  • 7200mAh Massive Battery:Vivo S60 series is equipped with a new generation battery technology with a capacity of 7200mAh, which is a size we are not used to seeing in the smartphone world.

  • 90W Fast Charging Support:In order to charge this huge battery in a short time, the device includes a 90W wired fast charging support.

  • Premium Hardware Packages:The phone brings the flagship standards to the mid-upper segment with its ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, metal frame and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance certificates.

How Was 7200mAh Battery Possible in a Slim Body?

For many years, smartphone manufacturers had to offer high battery capacities in thick and rough bodies. However, Vivo manages to overcome this physical obstacle thanks to its newly developed high-density battery technology. While the Vivo S60 model preserves the special silver-white design lines inspired by the ocean waves used on the back panel, it contains this huge energy in a thinness that does not disrupt hand ergonomics.

Product manager Han Boxiao states that the device can provide a usage time of up to 3 days on a single charge in normal usage scenarios, thanks to software and hardware optimizations. This technology, which minimizes the need for charging the device, is a great revolution, especially for users with heavy workloads and portable gamers. 90W fast charging support allows this 7200mAh battery to be charged quickly even during coffee breaks.

Powerful Processor and Advanced Display Details

According to leaked technical information and engineering prototypes, Vivo S60 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which offers high performance and power efficiency together. This processor architecture provides top performance in artificial intelligence tasks and games that require high graphics power, while keeping battery consumption at an optimized level.

On the front of the device, users are greeted by a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution. This screen, which stands out with its thin frames and wide curved corners, offers a fluent visual experience with its 120Hz refresh rate. The ultrasonic fingerprint reader positioned under the screen enables the screen to be unlocked much faster and more securely, even with wet or dirty fingers, compared to optical sensors.

Sony Collaboration and Premium Features on the Camera Side

The new Vivo S60 series goes beyond being just a battery phone and demonstrates an assertive stance with its camera performance. On the back of the device, there is an advanced camera module that is produced with cold-cut glass technology and appears integrated with the body. While a high-resolution 50MP segment sensor is used on the main camera side, the real surprise is in the periscope telephoto section.

According to the information received, the device uses a medium-length periscope telephoto sensor of the Sony IMX8 series. In this way, objects at long distances can be photographed clearly. In addition, the fact that the series comes out of the box with the latest OriginOS interface based on Android 16 and is completely resistant to high pressure hot water and dust thanks to IP68 and IP69 certifications reinforces the strength of the device in terms of durability. The metal middle frame design adds a stylish look to the phone and provides extra resistance against drops.
