TurkNet Gears Up Across Türkiye: Gigafiber Network Will Reach 4.5 Million Households

TurkNet closed the year 2025 with a turnover of 8 billion TL and 1.4 million subscribers, becoming Turkey’s 4th largest fixed internet operator.

TurkNet is launching a major expansion in fiber infrastructure investments. The company, which continues to grow with its prestigious infrastructure reaching 3.2 million households and more than 1.4 million subscribers, aims to spread its Gigafiber network, which offers 1,000 Mbps symmetrical speed, all over Turkey. Choosing Samsun as the first investment point in the Black Sea region, TurkNet has achieved significant growth here in a short time and plans to deliver its infrastructure to a total of 4.5 million households by the end of 2026. The company is gearing up to make high-speed internet, which has become the cornerstone of digital economy and production, accessible to wider audiences.

TurkNet reaps the fruits of its user-oriented and transparent service approach with financial and operational growth figures. According to the current information shared by the company, 2025 has been left behind with a record turnover of approximately 8 billion TL. Increasing the number of subscribers by 17% in the same period, the company managed to exceed the 1.4 million threshold in the total number of users.

The fourth quarter 2025 Electronic Communications Department Market Information report announced by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) also confirms this rise. According to the report, TurkNet won the title of Turkey’s fourth largest fixed broadband internet operator.

With this, it has consolidated its position as the third largest internet service provider (ISP) company with its own independent infrastructure across the market. The number of users receiving 1,000 Mbps speed from the Gigafiber infrastructure developed by the company with its own resources has increased significantly by 60% in the last year, reaching over 500 thousand.

“Loyalty is Formed by Faith, Not by Contract”

TurkNet CEO Cem Çelebiler emphasizes that they always put user experience at the center while touching on the company’s 30-year history and future vision. Stating that the internet is no longer just a technical need, but has become the lifeblood of education, production and digital economy, Çelebiler says that they shape investments according to the needs of the future.

Reiterating their stance against the classical contracting model in the sector, Çelebiler says that loyalty is not built with contracts, but with the quality of service provided and faith. Stating that one of the biggest driving forces in the company’s growth is user recommendations, the CEO explains that to date, more than 1 million people have joined the system with the reference of an existing TurkNet user.

Digital Transformation in the Black Sea: Great Investment in Samsun

The Black Sea region has great importance in TurkNet’s new expansion strategy. Samsun, the first Gigafiber investment point in the region, is at the center of this strategy. The company, which currently serves 11,500 active customers in the city, continues its infrastructure works without slowing down.

In a short time, the teams laid 300 thousand meters of fiber cable throughout Samsun, and 31 thousand households were directly covered by the Gigafiber network. But the plans are not limited to this; It is planned to increase the access network in Samsun to 100 thousand households in the near future. Approximately 5 thousand official requests have been collected throughout the city on the “I Want Gigafiber” platform for this high-speed internet network, which is in high demand especially by the young population, entrepreneurs, software developers and game developers.

The Backbone Strengthened by Türkiye’s Strategic Borders

TurkNet’s local infrastructure works are also supported by giant strategic subsidiaries across Türkiye. Company; It feeds the main backbone borders of the cities through the existing infrastructures of the country’s most critical institutions such as TEİAŞ, BOTAŞ and SOCAR.

Today, fiber (FTTH) investments extending to residences are actively continuing in Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Bursa, Kocaeli, Eskişehir, Manisa, Samsun, Denizli, Konya, Tekirdağ and Diyarbakır. These strong backbone lines, which are heavily used in metropolises such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, will be expanded at full capacity in new strategic points such as Samsun, Konya, Manisa and Diyarbakır in the coming period. In line with the targets for the end of 2026, 10 new provinces and 15 new districts will be added to the map and symmetrical 1,000 Mbps speed will become the standard of the masses.
