Turkish Airlines Venture Capital Investment Fund Made Its First Investment in Vendorside

Turkish Airlines Enterprise Capital Investment Fund invested in Vendorside in the field of purchasing technologies.

In a period when the use of artificial intelligence in companies’ purchasing, supply and operation management processes is rapidly becoming widespread, Turkish Airlines Enterprise Capital Investment Fund made its first investment in Vendorside, which operates in the field of procurement-tech. The company, which develops purchasing technologies and enterprise AI solutions, plans to use the investment it receives especially in line with strengthening artificial intelligence infrastructures, development of agent technologies, product investments and international growth goals.

70 percent of purchasing processes will be digitalized

While investments in purchasing technologies, data analytics and artificial intelligence-based decision systems are rapidly increasing on a global scale, institutions are also turning to new generation technologies in the fields of operational efficiency, cost optimization and risk management. According to PwC data, purchasing departments aim to digitalize approximately 70% of processes by 2027. In particular, the fact that the purchasing function has moved from being a purely operational process to the center of strategic decision-making mechanisms makes procurement-tech solutions one of the priority areas in the digital transformation agenda of institutions.

Vendorside platform developed in line with this transformation; It brings together strategic procurement, purchasing, contract management, supplier management, spend analytics and invoice-to-pay processes under one roof. The platform allows institutions to gain higher visibility in their purchasing operations, accelerate decision processes and manage their costs more effectively.

The Vendorside AI (Orchaside) platform developed by the company allows institutions to create their own artificial intelligence agents, develop AI workflows and establish information-oriented decision systems. The platform, developed with multi-agent architecture and advanced artificial intelligence infrastructure, enables institutions not only to automate their existing processes; It aims to create new generation working models that learn, predict and always optimize operations.

A new era in Enterprise AI and procurement-tech investments

Mehmet Taha Doğruyol: “We aim to be a global enterprise AI brand originating from Türkiye”

Vendorside Founding Partner Mehmet Taha DoğruyolIn his post-investment evaluation, he said: “The world of corporate software is entering a new era of transformation. In the coming years, companies will not use systems that only digitize their processes; they will work with artificial intelligence agents that can analyze information, predict risks and take autonomous action when necessary. Artificial intelligence is no longer a support technology, but a natural module of the operational workforce of institutions.

The purchasing function is also at the center of this transformation. Increasing supplier networks, complex operations and accelerated decision-making processes direct companies to smarter systems. While our Vendorside Procurement platform strengthens the operational basis of institutions, we are building a new structure with Orchaside where companies can create their own artificial intelligence workforce.

Turkish Airlines Enterprise Capital Investment Fund’s first investment in Vendorside is a valuable indicator of the technology we have developed and the vision we have put forward. With this investment, we will accelerate our artificial intelligence infrastructures, agent technologies, product development efforts and international growth goals. “Our goal is to be one of the technology companies from Turkey that is referenced on a global scale in the fields of procurement-tech and enterprise AI.”
