Taiwan-based technology giant TSMC announced that it has made revolutionary advances in 1.4nm (A14) technology, while it has not yet released 2nm chips. The company plans to complete its first production facility in the Central Taiwan Science Park in Taiwan in April 2027.
It is aimed to start pilot production for this new generation 1.4nm process in the third quarter of 2027, while mass production is expected to start in 2028.
