The Witcher 3 Online Mode Strengthens with Party System

The Witcher 3 Online Mode Strengthens with Party System

The Witcher 3 Online mode gained important features such as party system and cutscene synchronization with the 4.0 update.

Mod developer rejuvenate has brought comprehensive innovations to The Witcher 3 Online mode, developed for CD Projekt RED’s legendary role-playing game The Witcher 3, with version 4.0. The mode, which makes this open world game, which is based on a single-player experience, multiplayer, has introduced the party system and cutscene synchronization features that players have been waiting for a long time with its latest update. With this new update, players can now unite in groups and experience the weather, timeline and dialogue choices in a common way.

  • Version 4.0 of The Witcher 3 Online mode has enabled the party system and cutscene synchronization features for players.
  • With the update, the dialogue choices made by the party leader are automatically applied to all group members.
  • With the previous 3.0 update, the fully synchronized multiplayer version of the Gwent card game was included in the mode.

Party System Changes the Gaming Experience

The new party system allows players to see each other on the in-game HUD screen. In this way, cluster members can ensure their harmony much more easily while following missions and exploring the open world. In particular, cutscene synchronization prevents any interruption in the story flow, allowing players to follow the same plot at the same time.

The mod adds a layer of multiplayer interaction to the single-player world of The Witcher 3, allowing players to come together.

Other improvements included in the update notes include synchronization of painted armor colors, smoother localization support, and various bug fixes. In particular, the elimination of rare technical issues that conflict with other modes has increased the overall stability of the mode. The critical bug that caused players to be thrown off the map when they entered the cutscene while on a horse was also resolved with this version.

Future Projects Raise Expectations

In official channels, the situation is a little different. Molasses Flood studio, under the umbrella of CD Projekt RED, continues to work on a new Witcher multiplayer game codenamed Project Sirius. It is known that this project, which is restructured in 2023, is awaited with great curiosity by the fans of the series. Although no official release date has been given yet, the project aims to offer a unique multiplayer Witcher experience.

However, various reports continue to come to the fore about a free-to-play co-op Witcher game that is claimed to be developed for PC and portable platforms. This project, whose official developer is now closed, is planned to bring the world of the series to a wider audience.

The mods offered by the developer community continue to provide enjoyable moments for fans of the series until the official multiplayer games arrive.
