Tesla Increases Charging Fees from Türkiye

Tesla Increases Charging Fees from Türkiye

Tesla Türkiye increased the fees of Supercharger fast charging stations by approximately 5 percent. Here are the current recharge prices and details.

Tesla, one of the important names in the electric vehicle market in Turkey, has changed the prices of the fast charging network Supercharger tariffs across the country. With this regulation, prices increased by approximately 5 percent for both Tesla brand vehicle owners and other brand vehicle owners using Tesla’s charging network.

With the new price tariff, the charging fee for Tesla owners, which was previously 9.40 TL per kilowatt-hour (kWh), increased to 9.90 TL. There was a similar increase in the tariff applied for non-Tesla electric vehicle users, and the unit energy cost increased from 11.70 TL to 12.30 TL.

Current Supercharger prices and details

Tesla actively operates Supercharger stations in 28 different locations across Türkiye. These stations are mainly concentrated in the provinces on the Marmara and Western lines such as Istanbul, Ankara, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Bolu, Edirne and Tekirdağ.

The charging network is not only limited to these regions, but also serves in cities such as Eskişehir, Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, Aydın, Denizli, Isparta, Antalya, Çankırı and Samsun.

These fast charging points, which are of critical importance for electric vehicle owners, continue to meet the energy needs of users on long journeys. This price update stands out as an arrangement made by Tesla in order to maintain cost balance in its charging operations in Turkey.

With the expansion of the charging network, the stations appeal to more users and attract attention by being open to the use of different brands of vehicles.

Charging network status across Türkiye

Tesla’s Supercharger network in Türkiye has a strategic location, especially on main transportation axes. These stations, located in a total of 28 locations, aim to reduce range anxiety by offering fast charging to electric vehicle users.

While the company continues its infrastructure investments to strengthen its presence in the Turkish market, such updates in charging fees are among the issues that users follow closely. The existing 28 locations support users’ travel routes, especially on the Marmara and Western Anatolia lines.

The diversity of locations of charging stations allows electric vehicle owners in different cities to participate in the system. Tesla’s charging network strategy in Türkiye continues to contribute to the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem with its high-speed charging capacity.

Tesla’s widespread network throughout Türkiye is one of the key elements that facilitates electric vehicle owners’ access to charging stations.

We are wondering whether there will be a change in the charging preferences of electric vehicle users after the price increase in question, what do you think about this?
