As TCL prepares to expand its product range, it continues its work on the new P80 and P80 Pro smartphone models. New information leaked to the technology world reveals the design details and technical specifications of these two devices.

Leaks shared by Roland Quandt confirm that TCL is preparing new phones that will be in the mid-range segment. The tan-colored model is the standard P80, while the gray model is the P80 Pro with more advanced features.

Design and Hardware Details

Although the new models have a design language reminiscent of TCL’s NXTPAPER 70 Pro device, they contain some important differences. A brighter finish is preferred over a matte screen coating, and the screen bezels are noticeably thinner.

The P80 Pro model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Elite processor. The device features a 6.83-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2766 x 1280 and support for NXTPAPER mode.

Other technical specifications of the Pro model include 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 5800mAh battery. In terms of cameras, it features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP front camera.

The standard P80 model is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Elite processor. This model offers 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery.

Pricing and Additional Features

A physical sliding button on the side of the P80 Pro model is among the device’s notable details. It is speculated that this button can be used for functions such as muting notifications or activating NXTPAPER mode.

According to leaks, TCL plans to offer the P80 Pro model for sale with a price tag of 350 euros. The price set for the standard P80 model is around 300 euros.
