Anthropic announced the Claude for Small Business service, which small businesses can use integrated with popular applications.
Anthropic introduced its new Claude for Small Business service as part of its growth strategy in the enterprise software market. This new product allows small business owners to integrate Claude technology into existing applications such as Intuit QuickBooks, DocuSign, PayPal, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
The company introduced its Claude for Financial Services product last week and launched its improved legal software solution on Tuesday. Anthropic states that with Claude for Small Business, users can perform a variety of tasks such as payroll processing, accounting records, business insights and trend analysis through popular applications.
AI support for small businesses
Anthropic President Daniela Amodei stated that although small businesses make up almost half of the American economy, they lack the resources that large companies have. Amodei emphasized that artificial intelligence is the first technology that can close this gap and stated that they have started a new era for entrepreneurs supported by training and partnerships.
Anthropic’s move raises concerns on Wall Street that artificial intelligence companies could replace existing software providers. Shares of companies such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Intuit, DocuSign and Box have fallen both on a year-to-date and annual basis in recent months.
Competition and future expectations in the sector
Anthropic continues to focus on the corporate market ahead of its planned IPO later in the year. It is known that its rival OpenAI is aiming to go public in a similar way.

According to company data, the revenue rate for 2026 increased from $9 billion last year to over $30 billion. Additionally, the number of companies spending $1 million annually doubled from 500 to over 1,000 in two months.
At an event held last week, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei warned that software service (SaaS) companies that cannot keep up with the AI transformation may face the risk of bankruptcy.
Amodei stated that individual SaaS companies may lose their market value and that this depends on the reactions of the companies.
