Sony has officially announced its new representative in the mid-range smartphone market, the Sony Offering a similar design and hardware package to its predecessor, the new model includes features that are now rare, such as a 3.5 mm headphone jack and microSD card support. However, despite the modest innovations offered by the device, the starting price of 599 Euros is already raising significant questions in the technology world.
Design and Display: 50% Brighter OLED Panel
The Xperia 10 VIII retains its compact structure and comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ resolution LTPS OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Sony states that the screen brightness has increased by 50% compared to the previous generation. Maintaining the classic notch-free and holeless screen design, the phone features stereo speakers on its symmetrical front bezels that offer 30% more powerful sound output.
One of the most striking aspects of the device is its continued use of a microSD card slot and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, features almost entirely abandoned in today’s smartphones.
