Following the official pre-order details shared by Rockstar Games, Sony announced that the highly anticipated GTA VI game will be played best on PlayStation 5. Sony stated that they are working in close cooperation with Rockstar Games and that 3D audio technology supported by Tempest Engine will be used. This technology promises high-accuracy sound positioning while allowing players to fully immerse themselves in Leonida’s soundscape.

Enhanced Gaming Experience with DualSense

The main differences in the gaming experience emerge with the features offered by the DualSense controller. The controller’s integrated speaker gives players a different dimension with sound effects that support in-game interactions.

Haptic feedback feature offers responsive vibrations that change according to the player’s choices and environmental factors. In addition, adaptive triggers on the DualSense make the experience in Vice City more realistic by providing dynamic resistance. The console’s SSD unit promises almost instantaneous loading times when moving in the Leonida state.

PS5 Pro Details Not Shared Yet

Although all these features are expected improvements for PlayStation 5 owners, users are especially curious about the technical details of the PS5 Pro version. No official statement has been made yet about GTA VI’s performance data such as frame rate and resolution costs.

The fact that Sony did not provide any special information for PS5 Pro is attributed to the ongoing optimization process of Rockstar Games. In this process, which will last until November 19, more technical details are expected to be shared closer to the game’s release. Considering that the release of the PC version may take a long time, PS5 Pro is seen as a valuable option for this game.
