Sony has created special PlayStation 5 hardware for Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games. This special series includes a standard digital edition console, two different DualSense controllers, and themed covers for PS5 and PS5 Pro models.

Yellow and silver colors stand out in the design details, while the claw theme is placed at the center of the visual language. Sony announced that these items will be sold in select markets under the names Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition and Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition.

Special Design Hardware and Content Details

The covers offered under the name Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition are designed to be compatible with both standard PS5 and PS5 Pro models. The Battle Yellow Limited Edition series includes the console package and specially designed DualSense controllers that can be purchased separately.

The game, which will be released on September 15th, is developed by Insomniac Games, the developer of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. Prepared in collaboration with Marvel Games, the game aims to bring an original story of the legendary comic book hero to players.

Wolverine’s New Adventure and Story Background

The game’s story begins at a point where Logan believes he has completed his mission as Wolverine, but the traces of the past continue to haunt him. Three years after leaving his group, Wolverine is forced to rejoin Team X, the mutant task force.

The kidnapping of mutants by a character named Bolivar Trask, driven by his belief in human superiority, forms the central conflict of the story. During this process, Wolverine tries to save the world by collaborating with other mutants in different locations such as Canada, Japan, and Madripoor. In this action-packed adventure where the fate of humans and mutants hangs by a thread, Logan acts knowing the world needs a hero.
