Qualcomm has quietly announced the new gaming-focused Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chipset, expanding its flagship processor family. Listed on the official website with the model number SM8850-1-AB, this new hardware specifically targets gamers expecting high performance. Confirmed to be used first in the Redmi K100 Pro series, this processor retains the core features of the existing Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 architecture while being launched with a different positioning that optimizes the gaming experience. Qualcomm aims to take the competition in the mobile gaming world to an even higher level with this new variant.
