Samsung is increasing the prices of its flagship phone models starting from June. Here are the Galaxy models and details that will be affected by the increase.
Samsung is preparing to increase the prices of affordable phone flagship models starting next month. These price updates, which are stated to start in the Greek market, are expected to affect a wide range of products.
The price increases in question will cover the Galaxy S series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy FE models. This situation is seen as a result of the cost pressure created by the high demand for RAM and storage units in the technology world.
Price increases may affect the European and US markets
According to the information shared by TechManiacs, the increases, which will be valid from the first week of June, will add at least 100 Euros to the prices of the relevant models.
This increase is expected to be much more obvious in variants with higher storage capacity. Considering the increases between 50 and 80 Euros previously applied for the Galaxy S26 series across Europe, it becomes more costly for users to access new devices.
Galaxy S25 FE users, especially those looking for an affordable flagship, will also be directly affected by these price regulations.
It is assumed that a similar pricing strategy may apply to the US market. Samsung had previously made price increases ranging between $40 and $100 for the Galaxy S26 series in the USA.
For this reason, users who are considering purchasing new Galaxy models are advised to act quickly.
Other manufacturers in the industry, OPPO, OnePlus, vivo and Xiaomi, have similarly increased prices in different markets due to the RAM crisis.
Expectations before the new Unpacked event
Samsung’s next Unpacked event, which is expected to be held on July 22, is on the agenda of the technology world.
At this event, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8 models are planned to be introduced. It will not be surprising if these newly announced devices come to market with higher price tags.
These general price increases in the technology sector continue to directly affect consumers’ purchasing decisions.
