Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ Design Revealed

Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ Design Revealed

The real image of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ model has been leaked. Details of the new tablet with Dimensity 9500 processor are in our news.

South Korean technology giant Samsung continues to work on the new generation Galaxy Tab S12 series to maintain its claim in the premium tablet market.

Following the Tab S11 series, which was launched last September, the Galaxy Tab S12+ model, which is expected to be introduced in the autumn of this year, appears live in the database of the Safety Korea certification body.

While this first real-life image offers solid clues about the front design of the tablet, it confirms that Samsung has stuck to a refined and evolutionary design language rather than radical changes.

Especially the position of the front camera clearly reveals the design difference between the Ultra model, the flagship of the series, and the Plus model.

In an increasingly competitive environment in the tablet market, the hardware and design updates that Samsung offers to users are awaited with great curiosity in the technology world.

Evolutionary Steps and Camera Detail in the Design Line

In Samsung’s tablet strategy, screen and frame ratios are of great importance in terms of user experience. Some theses previously circulating in the technology circles claimed that the entire Tab S12 series would switch to a punch-hole camera design.

However, the Galaxy Tab S12+ image in Safety Korea records firmly refutes these rumors.

When we look at the leaked photo, we see that the front camera in the Tab S12+ model is hidden very neatly in the top frame of the screen, just as we were used to in previous generations.

This design choice shows that the device maintains very similar frame thicknesses to its predecessor, the Tab S11+. On the other hand, it is known that the front camera in the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra model, traces of which were found in the new generation One UI 9 beta software codes last month, will have a perforated structure embedded in the screen.

This big change in the Ultra model is due to the device having much thinner frames to maximize the screen-to-body ratio. Thanks to this move, Samsung’s design group helps it establish a clear hierarchy between the Plus and Ultra models, both visually and in terms of pricing.

For users who want to take the premium feeling and futuristic look to the top, the perforated screen design becomes one of the most valuable signature features of the Ultra model.

What Does the Safety Korea Certificate Tell Us?

The details revealed by Safety Korea, South Korea’s official certification body, clearly reveal the contact variations of the device prepared for different markets.

The SM-X840 model number in the certification database represents the version of the tablet that only has high-speed Wi-Fi connection.

The SM-X846N model number refers to the 5G supported version on the portable information side, produced specifically for the South Korean market and certainly for global regions.

The fact that these devices are starting to appear in official records prove that the tablet’s hardware and software development process is now approaching its final stages and the countdown has begun for a massive global launch.

Limit-Pushing Performance with MediaTek Dimensity 9500

Making the Android ecosystem increasingly stronger, Samsung also increases the processor power of its new generation tablets far beyond the industry standards.

According to the latest hardware leaks, the Galaxy Tab S12+ is powered by the flagship processor Dimensity 9500, which MediaTek will officially announce soon.

This new processor, which is the direct successor of the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which was highly acclaimed in the Tab S11 series last year, is built with a 3 nanometer (3nm) production architecture that makes a difference in the portable world.

While this hardware upgrade maximizes the power efficiency of the device by optimizing battery consumption, it also creates a tremendous performance leap in desktop experiences such as Samsung DeX, new generation portable games that require intensive graphics processing, and professional video content production.

The pure power that this processor will offer is a great advantage, especially for creative professionals who edit high-resolution images, use three-dimensional modeling software, or spend hours on detailed drawing applications with the S Pen.

What to Expect in Screen and Battery Capacity?

Having properly analyzed users’ visual content consumption habits, Samsung does not plan to give up the standard screen sizes that it has found successful in recent years.

According to the information received, the Tab S12+ model continues the user experience with its 12.4-inch high-resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X display panel, which is exactly the same size as the previous generation.

The physical dimensions of the device in the leaked certification images also support this claim. It is stated that the top model Tab S12 Ultra, which is the hardware monster of the series, will retain its 14.6-inch huge screen that resembles a laptop and its giant battery with a capacity of 11,600 mAh, which allows it to stay away from the socket.

As a result, the Galaxy Tab S12 series, which is prepared to offer a very stable premium tablet experience for Android users who want to combine daily office productivity and high-quality entertainment on a single device, is planned to be officially introduced at a special Galaxy Unpacked event to be held in September or October 2026.
