Samsung’s highly anticipated new smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, appeared in Geekbench performance tests and revealed its technical features and processor power. The device, prepared for the South Korean market with the model number SM-S741N, draws attention with its Exynos 2500 chipset in the tests.

According to the information leaked by @tarunvats33, the device is preparing to appear before users with the Android 17 operating system and One UI 9 interface.

This smartphone, which is expected to be introduced in the third or fourth quarter of 2026, attracts attention with the performance increase it offers compared to the previous models of the series.

Processor Performance Was Below Expectations

With the results of 2255 and 7450 points, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE managed to surpass the scores of 1913 and 6516 points achieved by the Galaxy S25 FE. However, this picture also brings with it some question marks.

Early engineering prototypes previously tested in April reached very high levels of 2426 points in single-core and 8004 points in multi-core.

The fact that current test results fall behind these numbers suggests that Samsung engineers may have restricted the clock speeds to increase the stability of the device.

The performance decrease indicates that hardware optimizations are continuing in the launch version of the device.

Production Technology Increases Efficiency

Producing the Exynos 2500 chipset with a 3 nanometer architecture enables the device to maximize power efficiency.

The fact that the same chipset is preferred in the Galaxy Z Flip7 model reveals Samsung’s belief in this processor.

With this strategy, the company aims to offer a more accessible alternative to the flagship Galaxy S26 series. The 8 GB RAM capacity of the device meets current standards for daily use and multitasking.

On the software side, the innovations brought by Android 17 and One UI 9 will directly affect the lifespan and user experience of the phone. Samsung plans to continue its commitment to operating system updates in this model and offer long-term software support.
