Popular link shortening services have been blocked from access in Türkiye by court decision due to complaints of illegal betting.

Why are link shortening services blocked?
The court panel terminated the platforms’ activities in Türkiye, citing illegal betting. Therefore, users can no longer log in directly to popular web addresses.
Bitly, Cuttly and T2M decisions
In addition, authorized institutions shared the official file numbers of access blocking decisions with the public. The court blocked the Bitly (bitly.com) platform with decision number 2026/4089. However, it added the service called Cuttly (cutt.ly) to the list with 11 different decisions.

Cuttly file numbers 2026/4039, 2026/4050, 2026/4054, 2026/4056, 2026/4060, 2026/4071, 2026/4100, 2026/4107, 2026/4109, 2026/4114 and It is listed as 2026/4116. On the other hand, the court blocked the T2M (t2m.io) address with three separate files. The institution announced these files with numbers 2026/4026, 2026/4054 and 2026/4056.
