PlayStation Plus Subscriptions Increased

Sony announced that it will increase PlayStation Plus subscription prices. The increased prices, which will start on May 20, will also affect Türkiye.

Sony announced through official channels that it will change the prices of PlayStation Plus subscription plans worldwide. The company stated that the new pricing will come into force on May 20.

In the statement, it was stated that existing subscribers will not be affected by this price change. However, it was emphasized that if the current subscription is canceled or changed, the new prices will be valid.

Special situation for Türkiye and India

Sony announced that users in Türkiye and India will be excluded from this exception. This means that users in these countries may also encounter price changes in their existing subscriptions.

Depending on market conditions, the company increases 1-month subscriptions to 10.99 USD, 9.99 Euros or 7.99 British Pounds. 3-month subscription packages are updated to 27.99 US Dollars, 27.99 Euros or 21.99 British Pounds.

Current prices and uncertainty

Sony has not yet shared the new incremental price list that will be applied for the Turkish market. Currently, the 1-month price of the PS+ Essential package in Turkey is 270 TL, the 3-month price is 710 TL and the 12-month price is 2,160 TL.

For PS+ Extra subscription, users pay 405 TL for 1 month, 1,148 TL for 3 months and 3,645 TL for 12 months. For the PS+ Deluxe subscription, which is the most comprehensive package, the prices are listed as 474 TL for 1 month, 1,354 TL for 3 months and 4,266 TL for 12 months.

The company will clarify the new Türkiye prices, which will be valid as of May 20, in the coming days.
