Oppo has officially introduced and launched the new members of its well-known Reno series, the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro, targeting the upper-mid segment in Turkey. The new series stands out with its high-resolution camera setups, improved screen panels, and especially the significant increase in battery capacity. With a 200 MP main camera sensor, 120 Hz OLED screens, and massive battery capacities up to 7,000 mAh, these devices are significantly intensifying competition in the upper-mid segment.

The Oppo Reno 16 series comes with hardware that will meet user expectations in terms of both visuals and processing power. The Reno 16 model features a 6.32-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels, while the Reno 16 Pro model has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels.

Both models offer a 120 Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth. The peak brightness of the screens reaches 3600 nits, providing high visibility in direct sunlight.

In terms of performance, there is a processor difference between the two models. The Reno 16 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 processor, while the Reno 16 Pro model uses the more powerful Dimensity 9500s platform. Both devices use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technology.

On the camera side, Oppo includes a 200 MP main camera using the Samsung HP5 sensor in both models. The main camera is accompanied by a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom capability. The optical image stabilization (OIS) in the telephoto camera makes it easier to obtain clear images, especially in long-distance shots. On the front, there is a 50 MP selfie camera with autofocus.

Another important development of the new series is in battery capacity. While the standard Reno 16 model comes with a 6,700 mAh battery, the Pro version carries a massive 7,000 mAh battery. Both devices offer 80W fast charging support, while the Pro model also provides 50W wireless charging.

Featuring a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel, the Reno16 F promises a very smooth screen experience thanks to its 120 Hz refresh rate. Reaching a peak brightness of 1400 nits, this screen stands out with its 10-bit color depth and 397 ppi pixel density. For security, the model features an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, while the front camera is positioned in a hole in the upper-middle part of the panel.

The Reno16 F distinguishes itself from its Competitors in its segment with the capabilities it offers in its camera setup. The almost square-shaped camera island brings together a 50 MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS technology, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus. This comprehensive setup puts the device a step ahead of standard mid-range phones that rely solely on the main camera. On the front, the device features a 50 MP selfie camera with a 100-degree wide-angle lens and autofocus.
