The Nothing Phone (4b) model was leaked with a special RCB design ahead of its launch on July 7. Here are the technical specifications and price expectations of the new smartphone.
London-based technology company Nothing announced that it will introduce its highly anticipated new smartphone, Nothing Phone (4b), to the technology world with an official launch on July 7.
In addition to standard color options, the company announced that it has prepared a special version in cooperation with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), one of the valuable teams of the cricket world.
In the shared promotional images, it is seen that the squad players are examining the matte-coated red design of the device, while the new model is aimed to attract the attention of sports enthusiasts.
This device, which is expected to increase competition in the middle segment, constitutes a new link in the brand’s strategy to expand its product range.
Nothing Phone (4b) Technical Specifications Attract Attention
The technical details of the new smartphone reveal the price-performance stability of the device.
Nothing Phone (4b) is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, and on the software side, it comes to users with the Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.1 operating system.
In terms of memory and storage options, it is planned to offer 128GB or 256GB internal storage along with 8GB RAM.
When the imaging capacity of the device is examined, it is seen that there is a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the back.
For selfies, a 16MP resolution camera was preferred on the front. While the 6.7-inch AMOLED screen offers a wide viewing area, the large 6000mAh battery shows that it is fast in terms of battery life.
The high-capacity battery of 6000mAh promises long-term usage experience among mid-segment devices.
Strategic Positioning Provides Price Advantage
Nothing aims to bring this new model to a more accessible price point by positioning it at a lower level of the A-series.
Although it has more modest features compared to the Nothing Phone (4a), its starting price of around INR 30,000 makes the device a worthy candidate in the budget-friendly category.
As a reminder, the Nothing Phone (4a) model, which has the Snapdragon 7s Gen chip, debuted at 37,999 Indian Rupees.
The company aims to expand its market share by offering a more affordable model.
This pricing strategy clearly demonstrates the brand’s desire to appeal to different consumer segments.
The RCB-themed special touches in the design distinguish the device from standard models and create a point of attraction for the fan base.
As the July 7 date approaches, more information about the availability and full technical details of the device in global markets is expected to be shared.
