Nothing has officially released the first open beta version of its new Android 17-based interface, Nothing OS 5.0, for Nothing Phone (3) users. Released shortly after the company’s announcement yesterday, this update allows users to experience the new operating system features early.

Users who want to participate in the Nothing OS 5.0 open beta process need to download the Nothing Beta Hub 2.0 application to their devices from the official website. After this step, users who complete the registration process from the Settings menu can receive the update wirelessly. The company is warning users in advance about potential errors that may occur during the testing process.

Nothing Phone (3) owners who want to try the new operating system version should first visit Nothing’s official support page. The Nothing Beta Hub 2.0 application should be installed on the devices via the link at the bottom of the page.

After the application is installed, you can register for the beta program by following the steps ‘Settings’, ‘System’ and then ‘Nothing Beta Hub’. Users who trigger the update by pressing the ‘Check Version’ button can download the new version to their devices like a regular system update.
