Skoda introduced the Epiq model, the smallest and most accessible electric car in its product range. This new crossover, which is expected to be offered for sale in the Turkish market, aims to attract attention with its affordable structure.

The new model represents Skoda’s entry level in the electric vehicle world. It is planned to be positioned at similar price levels with the internal combustion engine Kamiq in some European markets.

Modern Design and Technical Details

Epiq is the first model to fully adopt Skoda’s new design language called Contemporary Solid. The vehicle has a length of 4171 millimeters, a width of 1798 millimeters and a height of 1581 millimeters.

The vehicle, which comes with a front-wheel drive infrastructure, offers three different power options and two different battery types. Skoda EpiqIt offers users a maximum range of up to 440 kilometers.

Inside the vehicle, a 5.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 13-inch touch screen are standard. Despite its small size, the model offers a luggage volume of 475 liters and can increase this space to 1344 liters when the rear seats are folded.

Performance and Charging Capacity

Epiq, the first mass production model built on the MEB+ platform, can be preferred with three different engine options of 114, 133 and 208 horsepower. The most powerful version can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers in 7.1 seconds.

On the battery side, there are two options with a capacity of 37 kWh and 51.7 kWh. The NMC battery pack can reach a charge rate of 10 percent to 80 percent in 24 minutes, thanks to its 125 kW DC charging support.
