New Road Map from Bethesda: Fallout 5 and The Elder Scrolls VI are on the Way

New Road Map from Bethesda: Fallout 5 and The Elder Scrolls VI are on the Way

Bethesda’s new game roadmap has been announced. Fallout 5, The Elder Scrolls VI, Obsidian subsidiary and the expected remaster versions are here.

Bethesda, one of the most important and gigantic studios in the gaming world, broke its silence after the recent Xbox layoffs and shared a tremendous future road map that will excite gamers.

Official statements made by Todd Howard, the head of Bethesda, reveal that the studio will virtually revive the iconic Fallout series and that they are working with all their strength for The Elder Scrolls VI, which has been long-awaited for years.

According to the shared road map, the studio heralded that the Fallout 5 model has officially entered the pre-production stage; It is working on completely renewed (remaster) versions of legendary productions such as Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Moreover, a partnership is being established with Obsidian Entertainment again for a mysterious Fallout project.

However, despite all this Fallout storm, Todd Howard clearly emphasizes that the studio’s current primary focus is still The Elder Scrolls VI and most of the team is focused on this project.

Big Bang in the Fallout Universe: 4 New Projects Coming at Once

The tremendous success of the Fallout series, which has been released in collaboration with Amazon Prime in recent years, shapes Bethesda’s gaming plans directly and aggressively.

While the production process for the third season of the series, which received 10 Emmy nominations in its second season, continues at full speed, Todd Howard lists the game good news one after another that will make gamers smile. Fallout 5, which will be the future flagship of the series, enters the official calendar of the studio and steps into the pre-production phase.

However, there is a long development process ahead of us for Fallout 5. Bethesda, which does not want to leave the players idle in this process, is bringing back two masterpieces that have become cult in the gaming world.

Fallout 3, which revolutionized the industry, and Fallout: New Vegas, which won the hearts of players with its story-telling, are preparing to take their place on the shelves again with remaster versions that will benefit from the power of modern hardware.

Re-Partnering with Obsidian and Fallout 76 Expansion

One of the biggest surprises on the road map is, of course, Obsidian Entertainment partnership. Obsidian and Bethesda, the genius team behind New Vegas, are coming together again for a completely new Fallout project, the details of which are kept secret for now.

This already creates a wave of curiosity among fans of the series. On the other hand, Fallout 76, which has already been experienced by millions of players, is not forgotten. The huge expansion pack called “Raven Rock”, which will be released next year for the game, takes players to the past by considering the prequel of the Fallout 3 story.

The company, which is also gearing up in the world of television, confirms that an unscripted, completely survival-oriented “Fallout Shelter TV” project is on the way, in partnership with Amazon Studios and Kilter Films.

Main Focus Still Hasn’t Changed: The Elder Scrolls VI Comes First

Although these successive announcements from the Fallout front create excitement, Todd Howard does not hold back from making a statement that will warm the hearts of fantasy RPG enthusiasts. Howard states unequivocally that the studio’s main development focus is The Elder Scrolls VI.

Stating that they know that Skyrim, which was released 15 years ago and sold more than 65 million copies, is still discovered by millions of players, the famous director states that they are aware that the wait for the sequel has been very long and that the overwhelming majority of the workers in the studio are currently working day and night to build this world.

It will be powered by the New Generation Creation Engine 3 Game Engine

Bethesda is switching to a completely new technological infrastructure in both The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 projects. Starfield has been developed within the studio since its launch. Creation Engine 3The game engine forms the backbone of these two giant productions.

According to Todd Howard’s statements, this new engine; It contains advanced rendering (image processing) technologies, original systems and contemporary development tools. Its biggest advantage is that it allows Bethesda teams to carry out multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, with high optimization, without undermining each other.

This technological leap aims to speed up the release processes of games and make the worlds of production much more vibrant and perfect.

Support for Starfield: Interstellar Adventure Grows

Starfield, which received very mixed feedback from players and critics during its initial release, proves that it is not a project to be thrown aside for Bethesda.

The studio’s support for the production, which is approaching the threshold of hosting a huge game time of 1 billion hours in total, continues with determination.

Todd Howard states that Starfield has a very important place in the company’s future and says that they will continue to expand the “Settled Systems” world with new stories, targeted gameplay improvements and major updates as the game enters its 3rd year.

He also mentions that all preparations for the brand new “Starborn” content that will be released next year are continuing in the background. Bethesda appears before the players in a very strong way with this road map that both remembers the legends of the past and takes giant steps into the future.
