New Gaming Mouse from Xiaomi: Gaming Mouse 2

New Gaming Mouse from Xiaomi: Gaming Mouse 2

Xiaomi announced the technical details of the new gaming mouse Gaming Mouse 2, which has a PixArt PAW3955XM sensor with 40,000 DPI sensitivity.

Xiaomi shared the curious technical details about its new gaming mouse, Gaming Mouse 2. Following its first announcement last week, the company officially announced the hardware features of the device on Weibo.

This new product shows that Xiaomi aims to go beyond entry-level models and enter the professional gaming equipment market more seriously. The special PixArt PAW3955XM sensor at the center of the device is the most important part of this strategic move.

High Performance Sensor Technology

Xiaomi Gaming Mouse 2 is equipped with a special sensor developed by PixArt, one of the leading manufacturers in the industry. This sensor offers sensitivity support up to 40,000 DPI, giving users a wide range of usage.

High DPI values are generally preferred for more consistent tracking performance at low settings. The technical data of the device includes 750 IPS viewing speed and 60G acceleration capacity.

These values enable the mouse to react even to very fast physical movements without losing cursor tracking. In addition, a static frame rate of over 20,000 FPS and a 1 percent DPI sensitivity rate stand out as other important factors that support the technical capacity of the device.

Thanks to the factory 1:1 calibration, it is aimed to prevent problems such as cursor drift or frame skipping. This configuration promises a stable gaming experience for both precise micro-adjustments and large-scale movements.

Design and Competitive Positioning

When the promotional images are examined, it can be seen that Gaming Mouse 2 has a symmetrical body design. The two side buttons on the left edge show that the device is especially optimized for right-handed players.

Xiaomi positions this product as an e-sports mouse and emphasizes that the sensor quality and factory settings are sufficient for competitive gaming. However, critical information such as weight, battery life and wireless connection speed that determine the success of a gaming mouse has not been shared yet.

The company is expected to offer this device at a more affordable price than its well-established competitors such as Logitech or Razer. The actual performance and pricing of the product in the market will become clear with the official launch date.

Do you think Xiaomi can be successful against giants such as Logitech and Razer with this new gaming mouse?
