iQOO is planning its next big launch event in China for September or October. While the iQOO 16 model is expected to be at the center of the event, the introduction of iQOO Neo 12 and a new compact tablet is also on the agenda.
The compact tablet, which has been on the agenda with leaks since last year, finally received the necessary approval from the SRRC authority in China. This device, which has the model number iPA2691, has left behind an important phase in the market launch process.
Compact design and high performance
According to the information shared by Digital Chat Station, the device will be available to users with a very compact form factor. On the hardware side, it is stated that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chipset with 2nm production process will be used.
The tablet will not offer SIM card support and will only access the internet via Wi-Fi connection. Positioned as a performance-oriented model, the device is expected to come with an OLED screen with thin frames. The screen, which is expected to offer high refresh rate support, will be one of the main features of the device.
It is expected that technical details about the device will become clearer in the coming days. On the iQOO front, in addition to the tablet, work continues on the iQOO Neo 11S model.
iQOO Neo 11S preparations continue
Developed for the Chinese market, iQOO Neo 11S may be released at the end of July or August, although it does not have an official launch yet. This device, which is expected to be equipped with a Dimensity 9500 series chipset, will be a minor update of the iQOO Neo 11 model introduced last year.
