iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Battery Specifications Revealed

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Battery Specifications Revealed

Apple has announced the battery capacities of the new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. Here are the battery capacity prices for the new iPhone 18 Pro.

Apple has announced the official battery capacities of the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models. With this announcement, the eagerly awaited iPhone 18 Pro battery capacity values have also become clear.

The company is required by European Union regulations to publish power labels on product pages. Thanks to this obligation, the official mAh values of the devices have been shared with the public.

Technical Details and Capacity Increases

According to data shared by Apple, the iPhone 18 Pro model with a physical SIM card tray comes with a 4,056 mAh battery. This value represents a 1.7% increase compared to the 3,988 mAh capacity found in the iPhone 17 Pro model.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max model stands out with its 5,391 mAh battery capacity. Compared to the 4,823 mAh capacity of the previous generation iPhone 17 Pro Max model, this model offers an 11.7% larger battery capacity.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max model shows a much more noticeable increase in battery life compared to the standard model. This can make a significant difference, especially for users expecting high performance.

The battery capacities of the devices are valid for models with a physical SIM card tray. Apple shares this data based on standard devices sold worldwide.

eSIM Models and Regional Differences

Apple sells models that only support eSIM in some countries. These countries include Bahrain, Canada, Guam, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, the US, and the US Virgin Islands.

These eSIM-only models, which lack a physical SIM card tray, can use the tray’s space for the battery. These results in a slightly larger battery compartment than standard devices.

However, the battery capacities of eSIM-only iPhone models have not yet been officially confirmed. The company has not yet shared the technical details of these special models.

In other countries around the world, including the UK and the rest of Europe, the devices come with a physical SIM card tray. This means that battery capacity data may vary regionally.

Apple is expected to introduce new iPhone models as well as other products at its event on September 9th. It is speculated that new devices such as the Apple Watch Series 12 and AirPods 5 will also be unveiled.

The company states that the design of the iPhone 18 Pro models will remain largely similar to the iPhone 17 Pro. Improvements to the internal hardware aim to increase the devices’ efficiency.

Major design changes are expected to come next year with the 20th-anniversary iPhone model. Users see this year’s updates as more performance-oriented.

Research firms like TrendForce are sharing their predictions regarding the pricing of the new models. Changes in hardware costs directly affect the starting prices of the devices.

User experiences will become clearer once the new iPhone models are released. How much difference do you think this increased battery capacity offered by the iPhone 18 Pro series will make in daily use?
