As Apple’s expected September launch event approaches, rumors about the color options for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Ultra models are increasing in the technology world. It is predicted that the Cupertino-based company will deviate from its classic color palette for its 2026 flagship devices, using a dramatic and assertive shade called “Dark Cherry.”

iPhone 18 Pro Models Start a New Color Era

Following the Cosmic Orange color introduced in the iPhone 17 series, Apple has embarked on a quest for a deeper and more striking aesthetic in the iPhone 18 Pro series. Leaks based on Pantone color codes indicate that the Dark Cherry shade is positioned somewhere between purple and red. This tone varies depending on light reflections, offering a sophisticated look reminiscent of wine or plum.

The new Dark Cherry color has a unique character, completely different from Apple’s past lavender or classic red tones.

According to leaked information, the new series will also include Silver, Dark Gray, and Light Blue options in addition to Dark Cherry. The Light Blue shade, in particular, is said to be close to Sierra Blue, known from the iPhone 13 Pro, but with a more saturated level.
