Operation: METEORITE and New Content
The newly released trailer reveals a special part called Operation: METEORITE added to the story of the game. This content consists of three different missions that take place one year before the events of the first game of the series.
Master Chief and Sgt. Centering on the Johnson characters, this adventure immerses players in a UNSC operation hidden aboard a Covenant research ship. What starts as an easy mission turns into a complex story full of unexpected difficulties.
Halo: Campaign Evolved faithfully retells the story of the original game and expands the experience with Operation: METEORITE. Players will encounter new locations, different enemy types and weapon options across the series.
Visual Improvements and Expectations
The visual quality of the game has been significantly increased with the opportunities offered by the Unreal Engine 5 engine. Former Bungie employee Niles Sankye’s concerns about tactical readability are replaced by curious anticipation with the new views shared.
The developer group is working meticulously to ensure that visual improvements do not negatively affect the gameplay dynamics. It is necessary to wait for July 28 to see how the performance will be in the final version of the game.
Pre-orders are currently available on Xbox, Steam and PlayStation platforms. The Collector’s Edition version is available through HaloWaypoint.
