The new mode developed for GTA San Andreas allows you to play GTA 3 and Vice City games as mini games within the game.
Fans of the Grand Theft Auto series have made a rare modification in the game world. The mod developer named DryxioGTA has prepared a system that makes Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City games playable in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
This mod allows players to access two other classic games without leaving the world of San Andreas. The developer demonstrated this interesting work in a macOS environment running on a Windows virtual machine.
Game within the game experience
When the mod is installed, San Andreas main character CJ can go in front of a television screen and start one of the options of Grand Theft Auto III or Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The selected game starts running directly on this television screen.
Players can switch between the main game and mini game by using the F10 key. While the minigame is running, the world of San Andreas remains active in the background and characters continue to wander around them.
The developer took this system one step further and created an intertwined structure. In a new shared image, Grand Theft Auto III can be run on one screen in San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City can be run simultaneously on another screen within it.
Interest in classic games continues
These types of modifications stand out as just one of the thousands of content produced for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which was released on the PC platform in 2005. These old productions in the gaming world are gaining popularity again before the highly anticipated new game of the series, GTA 6.
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released for consoles on November 19, after various delays. Do you think these intertwined game modes are exciting enough to replay classic games?
