Shortly after Google launched the Pixel 11 series, leaks of the Pixel 12 series have caused a stir in the tech world. Information based on GSMA database records reveals the technical details of four different devices that will be included in Google’s new flagship series.

According to the leaked information, Google is preparing for present users with four different models in the Pixel 12 series. These models are expected to be marketed as Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, Pixel 12 Pro XL, and Pixel 12 Pro Fold.

First Details for the Pixel 12 Series

Model numbers in the GSMA database clarify the identities of the devices. Model numbers listed for Pixel 12 are GC0QU, Pixel 12 Pro is GWU59, Pixel 12 Pro XL is G7U1Y, and Pixel 12 Pro Fold is G4D5D.

Important information regarding screen resolutions has also emerged. The base model, the Pixel 12, is listed with a resolution of 1080×2400, which is slightly lower than the Pixel 11’s 1080×2424 resolution.

The Pixel 12 Pro model comes with a resolution of 1280×2824. Compared to the Pixel 11 Pro’s 1280×2856 resolution, there is a very small difference here as well.

The screen resolution of the Pixel 12 Pro XL model is stated as 1344×2952. Compared to the Pixel 11 Pro XL’s 1344×2992 resolution, a similar trend is noticeable in this model as well.

These lower pixel counts could indicate a smaller panel, or it could suggest a redesign of the main screen. For now, it’s best to treat this data cautiously and wait for official announcements.

No Design Change in Foldable Model

The Pixel 12 Pro Fold’s inner screen is listed with a resolution of 2296×2404. This represents a significant increase compared to the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s 2076×2152 resolution.

However, this increase in screen resolution shows that Google hasn’t made a major change in its design preferences. Instead of switching to a large format like the Galaxy Z Fold 8 or iPhone Duo, the company continues its near-square design for the fourth year.

The Pixel 12 Pro Fold’s aspect ratio remains almost identical to the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Considering Google started its foldable phone journey with a larger screen, this might be disappointing for some users.

However, rumors suggest Google will use a new screen assembly in the Pixel 12 Pro Fold model. All devices are expected to launch with the Android 18 operating system.
