Google is working on a new feature for its browser Chrome that will radically change the form filling experience. Appeared in Chrome Canary version Find and Fill with Gemini, allows users to automatically fill out internet forms using data from their Google accounts.

This new feature can pull even information that is not manually saved in the browser from applications such as Gmail and Google Photos. Thus, users can access their information stored on different platforms directly through the browser.

How does Find and Fill with Gemini work?

Personal IntelligenceThis feature, which uses the infrastructure, can be activated through Chrome Canary settings. Users can activate this tool by typing “@@” in a random text field or by creating a special shortcut for themselves.

Google also shares some statements regarding the confidentiality of the information used in this process. The company states that the information filled in is not visible to anyone and is not used to train artificial intelligence models.

However, the titles and URL addresses of the pages where the feature is used are sent to Google servers. The information that this data can be examined by humans is also shared with users.

When will it be available for users?

Find and Fill with Gemini is currently only being tested in Chrome Canary. For this reason, there is no clear date yet on when the feature will come to the stable Chrome version.

Users can try the feature via the Advanced autofill option by going to the Autofill and passwords menu in the browser settings. Google aims to completely automate the form filling process by providing access to all information in users’ accounts.
