As the countdown continues for Microsoft’s highly anticipated new game, Gears of War: E-Day, the official Gears of War E-Day system requirements have finally been shared. Announced by The Coalition studio head Mike Crump, this information provides critical details for players to prepare their hardware.
With the game reaching gold status, the final production phase, the development team is now focused on the release date. The technical data shared during this process clarifies how users with different hardware levels will experience the game.
Gears of War E-Day System Requirements
Users who want to play the game at minimum settings need to have a reasonable hardware level to achieve 1080p resolution and 60 FPS. At this level, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 6600 or Radeon RX 9060 models are considered sufficient as graphics cards.
On the processor side, at least AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel i7-6850K or Intel i5-10400 processors are required. For minimum system requirements, 12 GB RAM and 115 GB SSD storage are also important components of the list.
In the recommended settings, 1440p resolution and performance above 60 FPS are targeted. For this experience, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, RTX 3060 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or Radeon RX 9060XT graphics cards are recommended.
For processors, AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel i5-11600K models and 16 GB of RAM are required. For storage, 115 GB of SSD space is required as standard for all settings.
For gamers seeking the highest graphics quality, Ultra settings promise an experience of 4K resolution and over 60 FPS. Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards stand out at this level.
For processors, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Intel i7-14700K models with 16 GB of RAM are recommended. Again, 115 GB of SSD storage is mandatory for Ultra settings.
