Rockstar Games has released the most comprehensive official gameplay demonstration to date for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. GTA 6 gameplay footage reveals the new mechanics and character interactions in the game world in detail for the first time.

The approximately 27-minute footage premiered on Netflix on the evening of August 27th. The demonstration includes many new features, from character transitions between Jason and Lucia to the six-star wanted level.

GTA 6 Extended Look and Release Schedule

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look was made available on Netflix on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 10 PM Turkish time. Rockstar Games announced that the footage will be released for free on their YouTube channel and official website on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 4:00 AM.

The images in the video were recorded directly from the game running on a standard PlayStation 5 console. Although the game’s PlayStation Store page states PS5 Pro Enhanced, the materials used in the demonstration reflect standard hardware performance.

The video is approximately 26 minutes and 49 seconds long. Due to a special agreement with Netflix, the content was offered exclusively to subscribers for the first six hours.

New Mechanics and Gameplay Details

The demonstration is more than just a classic trailer; it showcases the game’s daily life and action systems. The character transitions between Jason and Lucia have become much more cinematic compared to GTA 5.

One of the most striking details is the return of the six-star wanted system familiar from previous games in the series. The physical damage to vehicles and the ability to shoot tires during police chases show that the combat mechanics have been deepened.

The game’s weapon system and HUD design also appear to have been completely revamped. Players continue to use the familiar weapon wheel during combat, while also being able to collect weapons scattered around.

Rockstar emphasizes that the game is not just about crime and combat, but also includes everyday life activities. Scenes where characters can open refrigerators, change TV channels, and choose outfits prove the high level of detail.

Side activities such as playing basketball, scuba diving, jet skiing, and base jumping increase the interactive capacity of the open world. In addition, the fact that players can pet and interact with dogs shows that details familiar from RDR2 have been added to the game.

Turkey Price and Release Date

Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI in Turkey can be made from the PlayStation and Xbox stores. The standard edition is listed with a price tag of 3,999 TL, and the Ultimate edition is priced at 4,999 TL.

The game will be released on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S platforms. No official release date has been shared for the PC version yet.

Players who pre-order digitally will be able to download the game in advance starting November 12th. The physical version will also be released on the same date, but instead of a disc, a download code will be included in the box.
