Electronic Arts has released comprehensive technical details for EA SPORTS FC 27, a highly anticipated game for football fans, specifically for the PC platform. The development team shared fundamental innovations shaped by community feedback, from boot times and graphics presets to Steam integration and keyboard controls. Thanks to optimizations, the game’s boot speed is up to 50% faster on some systems, while brand-new visual technologies are being implemented for players with high-end hardware.
Faster Boot and Steam Friends Integration
EA is directly addressing the long boot times frequently mentioned by players in previous versions. Completely revamping the boot process via Steam, the studio significantly reduces the pop-up windows and loading steps that appear during startup. According to internal hardware tests, game entry times are reduced by approximately 50% depending on system configuration.
In addition, the issue of duplicate friend lists, which hinders cross-platform social experience, is also resolved. Steam friend lists are now automatically imported via EA Connect. Players can go directly to the lobby without wasting time manually searching for and adding their friend’s EA ID before sending a match invitation.
A New Era in Graphics Options: Enhanced Ultra and VRAM Indicator
FC 27 enriches the graphics menu with new options to help players find the best balance for their hardware. In addition to existing options, new “Performance,” “Balanced,” “High,” and “Ultra” presets for 80 FPS and 120 FPS are added to the system. Each of these settings can also be manually customized.
Featured Graphics and Hardware Innovations
Dual Channel Memory Requirement: To ensure smooth frame rates and prevent micro-stuttering, EA requires dual-channel RAM architecture (Minimum 2×4 GB, Ultra 2×16 GB) for system needs.
Renewed Keyboard Controls and System Performance
Controller not used For PC players who prefer hybrid play, the default keyboard layout is being modernized. Players can now choose between two modern layouts based directly on “WASD” or “Arrow Keys”. The redesigned shortcut keys make it easier to give tactical moves and player instructions during the match without taking your fingers off the main arrow keys.
In terms of gameplay responsiveness, input lag caused by high loads on the processor (CPU) is being optimized. While mechanical hard drive (HDD) support continues in minimum systems, the development team strongly recommends using NVMe or SATA SSD storage for faster data transfer and instant loading optimization.
