EA SPORTS has officially announced the ‘Class 27 ICON team for the new game in its renowned football simulation, EA SPORTS FC 27, and EA SPORTS FC Mobile on mobile platforms. Bringing together legends who have etched their names in gold in football history, the new class includes valuable names such as Sergio Agüero, Pepe, and Christine Sinclair; while Yaya Touré and Lúcio, previously Hero status, have been promoted to ICON level.

‘Class 27: Football Legends on the Ultimate Team Stage

Celebrating unforgettable moments and careers in the world of football, the new ICON class brings stars from different generations to contemporary arenas. In particular, Sergio Agüero, who scored one of the most iconic goals in Premier League history, and Pepe, known for his tough, uncompromising defensive play, stand out as the most attractive names to feature in the Ultimate Team squads.

Also joining the team is Canadian football icon Christine Sinclair, the first Canadian player in EA SPORTS FC history to receive the ICON title.

Ivorian midfield dynamo Yaya Touré and Brazilian legendary central defender Lúcio, who previously featured in the series with Hero cards, are officially promoted to ICON status with the ‘Class of 27’ as a result of their performance and legacy.

EA SPORTS FC 27 offers a vast football atmosphere with over 21,000 players from more than 800 clubs and national teams, over 140 stadiums, and more than 35 licensed leagues.

Players who pre-order EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition by August 31st will receive a non-tradeable 85+ GEN International ICON Pack usable in Football Ultimate Team mode. This pack includes one player from a special pool of 18 players from the ’27 Class and returning legends. On the mobile side, the excitement starts immediately. The ’27 Class men’s ICON team is added to EA SPORTS FC Mobile starting today. Mobile players can add special versions of these ICONS to their groups by completing four-stage PvE Challenge modes inspired by milestones in legendary professions.
