Companies such as Google, OpenAI and Anthropic, which were not initially included in this list, attracted attention due to their potential to benefit from the government’s conservative policies.

However, following the reactions, Google CEO Sundar Pichai and OpenAI management finally announced that they supported the letter. In a recent report by the New York Times, it was claimed that OpenAI and Anthropic were lobbying in Washington to restrict open source artificial intelligence models. This situation made OpenAI’s recent change in attitude more remarkable.

A vulnerability-laden artificial intelligence economy has the potential to reduce data security and cost hurdles by increasing competition. Experts emphasize that companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic should not be the sole masters of this revolutionary technology.

Harsh Criticism to OpenAI from Moonshot CEO

Moonshot CEO Zhilin Yang attributed OpenAI’s success solely to its combination of three different elements that already exist in the world. According to Yang, the real bottleneck in the field of artificial intelligence stems from the organizational structure rather than the missing technology.
